Quick Verdict
If you’re looking for your first paddle board and don’t want to spend hundreds of pounds, the AquaTec is an excellent choice. It offers impressive stability, plenty of accessories and outstanding value for money.

Description
The AquaTec Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board is an excellent all-round SUP aimed at beginners and recreational paddlers looking for a complete package without spending a fortune. Available as a kit including the paddle, leash, pump, backpack and accessories, it provides everything needed to get out on the water straight away.
After using the board on multiple trips, I’ve found it to be surprisingly stable, well-made and great fun whether you’re paddling on lakes, calm rivers or sheltered coastal waters. While it may not have the premium finish of boards costing two or three times as much, it delivers fantastic performance for the price.

Verdict
The AquaTec Inflatable SUP has genuinely impressed me. Considering its affordable price, it offers a level of stability, quality and performance that makes it incredibly easy to recommend to anyone buying their first paddle board. I got it on offer at just under £95 which has proven to be well worth the money so far.
The board feels reassuringly stable on the water, making it ideal for learning and building confidence, while still being enjoyable once you’ve gained more experience. The included accessories mean there’s very little else to buy before heading out, and everything packs away neatly into the supplied backpack.
Although the manual pump is perfectly usable, I’d strongly recommend pairing it with an electric SUP pump if you paddle regularly, as it makes setup much quicker and far less tiring.
Overall, this is one of those products that exceeds expectations. It may not compete with premium over £250 boards, but at its price point it’s exceptionally difficult to beat.
I really like that the bag that comes with it is also large and has extra space for other items. See my Paddleboard Pack Guide.
My Recommendation
If you’re looking for your first paddle board, I think the AquaTec is an excellent place to start. It’s stable, easy to use and comes with virtually everything you need to get on the water. After more than 20 hours of use, I’ve been genuinely impressed by how well it’s performed for the price.
There are better options for experienced paddlers wanting a faster touring board, but for beginners, families and recreational paddling, it’s very difficult to fault. At the price I paid, I’d happily buy it again.
