Verdict

I absolutely love the Quechua Air Seconds 6.3 Fresh & Black. I bought it on offer in 2025 for just under £600, and it has exceeded my expectations.

One thing to be aware of is that the tent doesn’t include a pump, so you’ll need to purchase one separately. I now use both a manual PSI pump and an electric pump, depending on the situation. Fortunately, the pitching instructions are sewn into the carry bag, making them easy to follow and impossible to lose.

The tent pitches surprisingly quickly. I’ve put it up both on my own and with another person. While it’s definitely easier with two people, it’s perfectly manageable on your own once you’re familiar with the process.

The standout feature for me is the space. As there are usually only two of us camping, we leave one of the bedrooms packed away, creating a huge living area and an incredibly spacious main bedroom. The Blackout bedrooms are excellent, and the zip-open ventilation panels make a noticeable difference to comfort, especially on warmer nights.

The only real downside is its size and weight when packed away. The carry bag is large and fairly heavy, so it’s not something you’d want to carry long distances. However, for a tent of this size and quality, I think that’s a reasonable trade-off and not something that has put me off using it.

Overall, this is a high-quality, well-designed family tent that offers excellent comfort, flexibility and ease of use. If you value space, quick pitching and a premium camping experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
