I paid just £8.49 for mine and have now used it around five times with my AquaTec inflatable paddleboard. It makes carrying the fully inflated board considerably easier, particularly when walking from the car to the water.
One of my favourite features is the Velcro paddle holder, which allows me to secure the paddle to the board rather than having to carry it separately.
For less than £10, it’s a simple accessory that I now take whenever I go paddleboarding.

Verdict
The KOETSU Adjustable SUP Paddleboard Shoulder Strap is a very simple product, but it’s also one of the more useful paddleboarding accessories I’ve bought.
After using it around five times with my AquaTec SUP, the biggest benefit is simply how much easier it makes transporting an inflated board from the car to the water.
The padded shoulder strap helps make the weight more manageable, while the Velcro paddle holder is a genuinely useful addition because it reduces the amount of equipment I need to carry separately.
At only £8.49, I think it offers excellent value and it’s now something I’d take with me whenever I’m paddleboarding.
My Recommendation
I’d recommend the KOETSU shoulder strap to anyone who owns an inflatable SUP and regularly has to carry it any distance once inflated.
It isn’t a complicated product, but it solves a genuine problem. I’ve found my AquaTec SUP much easier to manage with the weight supported over my shoulder, and being able to secure my paddle to the board makes the walk to the water easier again.
At £8.49, I think it’s excellent value.
If you’re struggling to carry an inflated SUP along with your paddle and other equipment, this is one of the first inexpensive paddleboarding accessories I’d recommend buying.

Would I buy it again?
For £8.49, it makes carrying my inflated paddleboard considerably easier and takes up virtually no additional room with my SUP equipment.
The Velcro paddle holder is particularly useful because I can attach my paddle to the board and carry everything together rather than juggling the paddle separately.
After using it several times, it’s become one of those inexpensive accessories that I wouldn’t really want to go paddleboarding without.
My Experience
Before buying this strap, carrying my inflated AquaTec SUP could be awkward, particularly when I also had a paddle and other equipment to take down to the water.
I’ve now used the KOETSU strap around five times, and it makes the board considerably easier to carry.
Instead of relying entirely on the SUP’s centre carrying handle, I can put the strap over my shoulder and let my shoulder take more of the load. I find this much more comfortable, and it makes the board easier to manage when walking any reasonable distance.
One of the features I particularly like is the Velcro paddle attachment. I can secure the paddle to the board while carrying it, which means I don’t have to try to carry the board with one hand and the paddle with the other.
It’s also small enough that it doesn’t add much bulk to my paddleboarding equipment, so there’s very little reason not to take it with me.
For something that cost me only £8.49, I’ve been very impressed with how useful it’s turned out to be.
